
Task
Forces
The Planning and Development Department facilitates
meetings of task forces formed to address planning and zoning issues.
The task forces examine existing policies and regulations to determine
if modifications are needed to the Springfield Zoning Ordinance
or other regulations and policy documents. A vital part of
the process involves public input. The Department has asked for
volunteers to serve on one or more task forces that will provide
valuable information. These task forces are comprised of residents,
neighborhood leaders, business owners, developers and other interested
